DURAVIT DREAM BATH

This project won an honorable mention in the Duravit Designer Dream Bath Competition 2015.  A small bathroom with no natural light was transformed into a soothing space with a nautical yet sophisticated feel.  To bring more light into the space, a custom vanity with an acrylic surface is illuminated from below.  The vanity is cantilevered from the side lifting it off the floor which creates the illusion of more floor space.  To celebrate the light elements, the Cape Cod washbowl and mirror by Philippe Starck were selected to provide a distinctive modern look.
