When frozen, water transforms itself on a molecular level into strict geometric forms. Inspired by the arctic shards of glacial ice, Arctica is a futuristic concept watch for Tokyoflash Japan. The main feature is a curved E-Ink display which can be seen in bright sunlight. It features a curved mineral glass crystal flush mount from edge to edge and suspended between two shards of stainless steel. A corrugated polyurethane band gathers the floating elements into one, while backlit translucent LED buttons provide a luminous accent to interrupt the visual flow. WiFi feature allows for real-time data streaming of full screen video.
